I recently bought curlformers which i love, but i find them uncomfortable to sleep in, when i saw this product i thought it is worth a try, but i also saw potential in using it for heating up dye, etc once applied.

It comprises of a large double layer hood with a tube attached which is elasticated on the end which goes over the dryer, i use a salon dryer which is quite powerful, but even on full power the dryer seemed OK (i was sure to keep an eye on it to monitor for overheating) there is a drawstring which you tighten around your hairline and a strap which fastens under your chin to secure it in place.

It says to use on low heat setting, which i did, and  once the hood is filled with air it starts to warm up to a decent heat, i only used it on half power as it seemed ample, i think if i was trying to dry my hair rather than heat it up, i'd use my dryer on the cold setting but full power.

I actually haven't used this with my curlformers yet (i only got it yesterday) but i expect it will work well and as you can put the hair dryer down (ensuring that the airflow is not blocked) you are free to do other things (stationery, of course, as the dryer is plugged in)

I would recommend this product for heating up dye/hair masks/oils, etc, it distributes heat evenly.

I have read it is good for drying dreads and curly hair too (think i read it in the amazon review)
