this is just a guess, but i imagine he says that cos most people would be dying perm dye after the b4, and as gothicle said it left her hair a bit dry, so using a perm would possibly damage the hair. where as our 'cool' dye is conditioning and good for the hair, so i think it'd be fine to do so. this  is just what i think though

Hi, welcome to the forum :).
If your searching for this on the US ebay site remember to use the English spelling of colour and not the US way (color) as this may be why nothing is showing up when you try to find it.

Also I have amended your post to lowercase as typing all in capitals is often regarded as shouting and can be harder to read sometimes.

would it work on black??  I really want to go back to red but have been dying my hair black for about a year and worried I'm never going to be able to get rid of it!!  Also don't want to do anything to it that's going to make my hair fall out/damage it etc!!

i think it depends on what dye you've used, i think its worth giving it a go =] seeing as it isnt really damaging

Aw hun =[ that sucks, well i used it again before i went purple when i had manky green/faded blue hair, and it worked but didnt work as well as the first time i used it (with the faded red hair)

Also i used it on my friend yesterday and it stripped hers pretty well, there was still a few bits left though, i think the more washed out your hair is before you use it, the better result you'll get x

Does this damage your hair? And do you think it'd work on pink hair?

Just tried the normal strength stuff on my atomic pink, didn't budge at all. Though the pink was over bleached hair.. Guess I'm gonna have to bleach bath it!

atomic pink is a nightmare to get rid of! you're in for a long haul my love. save your locks and stick to the bleach baths, i decided to do 2x 40vol bleaches in two weeks and have since ruined my hair =(

I want to get rid of XXL Live Passion Red, that I stupidly decided to put in a couple of days ago, over my bleached and semi Pillarbox red.
The colour is just not what I wanted and is uneven.
So I was planning to bleach it out and go back to my bright red.
But if this is less damaging, I am willing to try it πŸ™‚

What are the chances of it working?

I recently used Colour B4 Extra Strength over XXL Black and Purple. It went a red/orangey colour, I posted pictures in the Bleaching section (I think :p) It stripped the colour out really well! Made my hair feel really clean and soft afterwards. It's definitely worth a try!
