They sell the B4U colour in Savers, its about Β£1.99 if I remember correctly, I hope its not discontinued , Ive still got some left. As semis work differently to demis and permanents, am I right in assuming that you would not have any risk of re-oxidising with this ? if you had to still do a bleach bath afterwards? although saying that, Ive had turquoise disappear completely from my hair with colour remover only to reappear green with a bleach bath .
Wow, amazing result π
I can't seem to find it on superdrug's website, and that's where I bought it from. Haven't seen it in store recently either, but maybe they still have it in boots?

Hehehe! I meant the B4 U Colour shampoo, not the colour remover! But thanks anyway!
ooops my bad! teach me not to skim read LOL..
I've grabbed a box and gonna try it on AP. Eeek.
I really just want to lighten the bits that have gone more red thanks to my darker base on the ends, so an opportunity to see how it battles that!
Just an update -
puerkz is right - the clarifying shampoo is ace.
Although the final results for me were predictable - its faded my AP but only to the general fade I get in about 4 weeks, but less patchy, it seems - it's nice. But, its' not something a few washes with fairy couldn't have done for me. Atomic Pink wins again *rofl* and I stink of color b4 now.
<- avatar - that is after colorb4
I think it would really help those who are trying to get rid of the remainder of colour like puerkz, but for strong colours, I wouldnt bother.
I tried it today, pretty disappointed sadly. I knew turquoise was going to be a true test and it didn't stand up. Definitely not a patch on decolour remover for me.
It's not as eggy as normal colour b4 but its eggier than decolour. It did remove most of the red, but that was fading anyway. The turquoise it hardly touched. Decolour normally fades it at least two or three times as much.
The most irritating thing, it seems to have triggered a migraine for my boyfriend. He walked in the door and complained about the smell (I'd used it about 3 hours before). But about 20 mins later he was having trouble breathing and then a migraine started. Can't say for sure that's what it was, but it seems likely.
Was your turquoise still pretty saturated? Or was it already faded? It seems like people have more success when the semi has already faded quite a bit.
I used one n only colorfix from sallys here in the states. I had aftermidnight blue/pravana blue/pravana violet + a little bit of pravana magenta all mixed in my hair. It really only showed up on the first 5 inches really vibrant but it just made the rest, which was a dark brown/red look black again. I did a bunch of fading treatments a month after + it took it from bright dark blue to a faded steely blue. Then after 2 colorfix apps it took out almost all of it. The blue is like an extremely faded looking grey teal, im really happy as i didnt think it would do too much, esp after doing all the fading treatments. If youre up for trying another remover maybe try the colorfix π sorry you didnt get the results you wanted π
Yes, it was fairly saturated still. But I've used decolour remover two or three times on fresher turquoise than this and it's removed, as I said, a significant amount more than this. I've gone from a deep turquoise to minty green easily, where this was a little faded to brighter more faded turquoise.
We don't have colorfix here though anyway, so I can't try that. Trust me though, I'm not saying this lightly, I've probably used a more colour removers than anyone else here as I don't mind having pastels so much, but I loathe the colour when it's slightly faded and I'm changing all the time. It's a very expensive habit now! I had hopes this was going to be as good as decolour as it's a bit cheaper and specifically intended for the job.
you are actually the colour remover queen come to think of it!

Oh no, hope he was ok!
I must say, I haven't tried any of the other colour removers, but decolour remover works really well for me so I'm sticking to that for now!
I really want to try decolour remover!
