I used shade 10 'Lightest Blonde' but feel free to use this thread to review other shades!

Ingredients
This product is sulphate-free which for me (atopic eczema/ contact dermatitis) is a godsend, it does contain ammonia and stinks of it when you first apply, plus a slightly different form of bleach which allegedly is more specific to melanin and less for keratin. See blurb in linky, noting that it is written by the manufacturer

The intensive conditioner is silicone heavy and is almost the same formulation as the Pantene Colour Seal Concentrate which I will be reviewing separately. I did not use this but instead used an old tube of Schwarzkopf Live XXL conditioner (silicone free).

Product
I paid Β£4.50 on offer at Superdrug but the regular price in Boots is Β£7. In the box you get a pair of latex-type gloves which split at the wrists quite easily but not at the fingers, and didn't fall off like the massive cheapo gloves you normally get with box dyes. You also get a total of 140ml of product which seemed to be more than I am used to and covered almost all of my hair (armpit length, average thickness). The product is more liquidy than I am used to which does help it coat all strands quickly but might not be that great for detailed touch ups. The 60ml of conditioner is generous and is supposed to last several uses - for reference the same sized Pantene Colour Seal Concentrate is Β£3+.

Application
After coating with coconut oil, I applied Perfect 10 to my lengths concentrating on the worst of the auburn cuticle staining left over from red Live XXL. Then left it ten minutes before applying the remaining product to my roots, both quarter inch of virgin mouse and another couple inches which had been slightly lightened previously with Nutrisse Radiant Blondes. Left it another ten minutes before rinsing, conditioning and doing a vinegar rinse. This is contrary to the instructions, they say apply then leave the whole thing no more than ten minutes, but I was super speedy applying to the lengths so decided to risk it.

Results
Perfect 10 did not aggravate my skin at all, despite using the product a few days after I'd had a minor flare from an intensive treatment I did AND the same day I CO-washed my hair (*devil*)! My roots lifted a couple of shades, both the virgin mouse and the pre-lightened parts. Didn't seem to touch my auburn lengths, but TBF I am not sure it is even possible to strip that out. My white hairs are still visible despite promising "100% long-lasting grey coverage". My hair was dry and straw like afterwards which the Live XXL conditioner didn't do much for. A shock because I consider that to be a decent conditioner, so I would say this is a fairly strong product you would not want to use more than once a month, DEFINITELY needs a strand test before risking on damaged hair.

All in all I would definitely use this product again and recommend it to anyone else who has somewhat sensitive skin, wants a sulphate-free lightener, or just a couple of shades of lightening.  8) Any claims that it is gentle on hair and high gloss are likely down to the silicone-heavy conditioner.
