Batiste xxl volume

Don't buy it. It DOES work well as a dry shampoo and it DOES give you volume, but it actually tangles your hair and makes it feel like you have just bleached it several times, its feels... terrible. Absolutely terrible. And you can't manage it, at all.

I'm disappointed, I love batiste- but this is just awful πŸ™

Same. I bought some thinking it would be nice and soft as with the rest of the Batiste products, and although I did like the volume I got, it wasn't worth all the stiffness and tangles. Nightmare to brush out and although it felt lovely and clean, I absolutely had to wash it out the following day and it took a double clarifying shampoo to get rid of it all πŸ™

I tried it once before and agree, it made my hair feel super-dry.

It has the same stuff in it as the Got2be and Tresemme powder, it's silica. It gives volume but makes hair ratty, knotty and matt; my sister loves it for nights out when she's super-styled and curled her hair so it wasn't a waste of a purchase!

I got this as a birthday present from my mum last month. It's the only dry shampoo I had at uni for a bit and so when I bleached my hair and didn't wash it for a while, I used this dry shampoo
and it made my hair feel so dry, I thought I'd ruined my hair through bleaching!!

I use it like meeshybop does; for styling hair when it's too soft and perfect.

Literally just bought this, wish I'd seen this first, my hair feels like I've sprayed a crap load of hairspray into my roots. Gonna have to wash my hair, which kinda defeats the purpose really...gah!

I bought it and it was the first dry shampoo I used, I'd heard good reviews but I have the same problem. I am actually relieved that other dry shampoos aren't the same. I only use it if I want some volume before putting it up in a ponytail on day two. Do you recommend the original one?

I love the Bastiste Blush too - it smells so pretty! The tropical smelling one is nice too.

I tried a dry shampoo called "Girlz Only - Hazy Daze" recently (because it was Β£1.50 in Tesco) it was pretty good (appallingly spelt name aside!) not quite as good as Bastiste but it smelled nice, didn't make my hair feel gross and it wasn't as white and powdery as Bastiste - so maybe better for darker hair if you don't want to spend loads on coloured dry shampoo?

I'd buy it again definitely.
