I used this in light brown and not only did it smell amazing (coconut/tropical) but it left my hair so soft. I had jo baz'd my hair and been left with a light brassy brown giner toned hair. This has toned that down, blended into natural ashy roots. The nice smell even lingered after drying my hair which was a bonus. I've had no trouble with it running off/bleeding into my coloured flash and i'm not the carefulest of washers. It is slightly darker on the ends but that is due to old damage and the hair being more porous than the dye itself but shows that your hair is willing to soak this dye in. I left it on for about an hour since i started doing my hair late at night but ir does say leave it in for 30minutes, you could get away with all night though since it's veggie but i'll keep an update on my fade. I would definately consider this again for more natural damage free colour. Getting it out the bottle was a bit tricky though. It has a push pull twisty top then inside you snap a bit off but it comes out the sides of the knobby bit and then you stick the lid back on and its supposed to squueze out which gets quite difficult towards the end. It may be simpler to other people though. And just the adore dyes, not the semi plus come in a CC type bottle.
I've just bought this type of Adore hair dye, in brown/black shade. Going to apply it in the next few days I think.
Its all gone from my roots now and faded a bit from the dyed areas, still kept brassiness away though π which is what i wanted
Im just using it to top up my natural brown and make it a bit darker, so should work hopefully! That's also why I bought it in the darkest brown I could find without going full on black, so it will start off very dark but when it fades it will still be kinda dark. That's my theory anyway!
And it's only 3 quid and better for my hair than putting a box semi on it π
That sounds great, something to keep in mind for if I go back 'natural'
Ive really gone off box dyes since coming on here
Some of the "natural" orange/reds look really cool, I reckon you could get away with them in work places that want more natural hair colour on their employees.
I've decided after looking at my hair, that I'm going to wait a bit before topping up the brown section of my hair. It's not actually faded as much as I though so I'm going to leave it til nearer the time I go on holiday.
