Goodbye green!

Well I've had green hair for 3 months now and I've finally said goodbye to it (for the most part at least) in favour of blue.  But as I don't feel ready to give up the green entirely just yet I've gone for a kind of gradient effect.  I've also got some hair extensions I'll be dyeing green for a couple of shoots I have coming up.
Logic tells me the maintainance on the whole blue fading into green thing will be horrendous, any tips?

apologies for the added boyfriend in this pic, its the only one I have of my hair at the mo as I have no shoots coming up til December and I don't like taking pics of myself that much

that turned out gorgeous! would it be so bad if you just kept getting trims and having an ever decreasing amount of green? sounds like a sweet way to change colours to me 🙂 if you wanted to keep it exactly like that, though.....*head explodes*
😀

it really does look amazing. i guess the best way would be to wash in as cold water as you can stand and a good shampoo. depending on the blue it may fade to green anyway, depending on the base colour. looks fit though!

thank you 😀 yeah I used MP Shocking Blue because from what I could tell from the gallery it fades to green, figured it'd blend better that way. Can you recommend a shampoo at all?

Shocking Blue faded really nicely on me, through jewel-y blue and then a greeny turquoise 🙂 it did take a while though, a good couple of weeks of sapphire. shampoos? idk about in the uk, but sunsilk colour protect is pretty good if you have it there. ive heard good things about loreal elvive, gunna try that on my hair next 😀

so I'm kinda fed up of blending in with my bedroom wall whenever my hair fades (see pic below - 3 weeks of fading) so I've decided to go fractionally darker and see how that goes - this time I've ordered After Midnight blue instead of Shocking Blue, and Green Envy as well as my usual Enchanted Forest.  I'm interested to see how well this stays ^_^ I'll post results

also Pippa I will DEFINITELY try that Osmo Essence stuff you linked me to 😀 thank you!

Thank you! I got my hair cut today and I had to get it cut MUUUCH shorter than I was expecting so that's gonna make it hard to do the gradient thing again but I'll definitely try.

Any suggestions? Here's the cut :

I'm thinking for a start I'll probably do an under layer of Enchanted Forest and the same in the fringe, with the darker After Midnight Blue I've ordered on top.  I'll see if I can do the gradient thing with the rest of it, maybe haviing the blue fade into Green Envy but it might be too short for that to work.

Anyone else have any ideas on how I can make it look funky with those three dyes?

the cut really suits you, i like your ideas you said, or you could to chunks of the 3 diff colours perhaps? or racoon tail maybe?
