Hair experiment. Given how quickly the turquoise rubbed off on top layer (blaming lack of vinegar rinse), and having some Blue Velvet and needing to redye ... well ... 1 part BV to 3 parts DT gives you ...

I am in love with it. And I vinegar rinsed this time (though might have gotten a little too vinegar happy, smelt like a chip shop when wet) so I hope it staaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyysssss.
This is natural light, indoor light makes it look even inkier.

Update: One month on. The last five washes I haven't even used vinegar rinses.
It's fading brighter, if anything.

It's purpley in some lights, a biro blue in others and nearly black in others. I adore it.
Inquisitress, I love the multitonalness too. It was wholly unintentional and I'm not quite sure how it got there, but I'm happy my hair made it do that XD.
