So i wanted something different and i love the combination of black and blue (i now have black hair).
But beacause i have black hair right now it would take a few bleaches that would damage my hair to achieve blue and i don't want that.
So my boyfriend came a with a wierd idea: " you have blonde roots right now why not bleach that and make that blue? So in a while you will have an ombre style thiny ".
It sounded stupid to me at first but after thinking for a few minutes it actually sounded as a great idea!
Now i have the bleach in my hair and i actually feel verry excited!
Opinion?

Awesome idea! I did this with red, because I wanted to grow out my black, but with the bright red it looked intentional. Can't wait to see it done with blue. 🙂

I did this with black hair/blue roots and I think it looks cool, especially once the roots/blue starts getting longer 🙂 I can't wait to see the final result!
Is your black dye permanent? Color removers (not strippers, which are damaging) are great for removing dye, have you considered using one? After a color remover or two you may only need to bleach once or do a couple bleach baths and I'm sure you would at least be able to get something like Blue Velvet over it, or a navy blue with Adore Indigo Blue and Pravana Violet

@katiesiepierski my black dye is indeed permanent it is wella koleston perfect blue/black and i already used a colour remover ones (i live in holland and here we only have a colour remover from kruidvat house brand and it really sucks! XD) it only got me after 3 times a dark brown color:S so i won't use that again ^.^ but i think this is going to be awesome too and just like you said especially when it is getting longer 😀
