Yellow Hair!! HELP!

Hey guys.

My hair naturally is about a 3. For the past 2 years I've been getting blonde highlights that usually turn out fine! Last week, I went to get my roots highlighted. My hairdresser used Olioplex for the first time and I'm not sure if he didnt leave the highlights in long enough or didnt use a high enough developer (I heard with olioplex you have to use a 30 instead of 20) but my roots were darker and more orange/brassy than I usually like but it was so late I went on home. I work at a hair salon for years so i know a bit about hair and color so I just figured I would tone my hair myself a few days later. I went and got Wella 12C and it turned my hair a strawberry blonde color and I freaked out!!! I went back to Sallys and got Wella T18 and put it on my hair but it didnt make any difference as I assume it already pulled all the redish blonde color and just didnt fix anything. I called another hairdresser friend who just finished hair school and has highlighted my hair before and she told me she could help fix it. She had to rebleach the whole top part of my hair (basically no highlights now, all over blonde) and it came out YELLOW AND GOLD!!!! She toned it down with Wella 9a and it looks a tiny bit better but still has VERY yellow tones all throughout my hair! I really dont want to wear it like this because its very noticeable! I dont want yellow fake blonde looking hair!! Im going to use shimmer lights shampoo when I get home to see if that helps any but if it doesnt, will it be okay to retone in a different shade??? The girl who re did my hair said she was scared to re tone it because it could end up making my hair darker instead of lighter. Is that true? And if so should I not retone? I desperately need help and any EXPERIENCED advice would be great!!!! Thanks in advance!

Here's some pics:

If you want professional advice i would suggest you go to a salon.

I'm not sure if you took that the wrong way or if I worded it the wrong way but all I meant was someone who has the right amount of experience to help. Not someone who is just making a guess. I just dont want to mess my hair up more than it is.

You stated you only wanted professional help, (in capitals!) so a forum for DIYers isn't going to be the place for that.
There is a huge amount of combined experience on this forum, but for the most part non-professional.

Which is why I changed the post to say experienced because like I previously stated, I simply used the wrong wording.

First of all, your friend shouldn't have re bleached the top layers to get the toner out. In the future you should use colour removers such as colour b4 to remove dye pigment. Colour removers are non damaging, which means you aren't processing your hair unnecessarily.

Also you have professed your hair many times using oxidative toners and bleach, so at this point you need to stay away from anything with peroxide in for the sake of your hairs health. I would suggest making a toner. out of a semi permanent violet dye diluted with a lot of conditioner . This will help get rid of the yellow and give you a more cool toned blonde.

MMK so I have had hair this color before.  i would say first I would not use shimmer lights simply because I have gotten better results from a different purple shampoo from sallys.  I cant remember what it is called but it is in a gold bottle that says blonde in large lettering on the side and is a violet toned shampoo.  It smells better and has coco oil and a few other oils so it isnt very drying.  Second I do agree I wouldnt put another toner on it unless it is just shampoo or a mixed toner.  Use a color remover to get the colors out that are already in it.  Then use a homemade toner or use some purple shampoo on it (leave it for 5 to ten minutes)  That generally gets me to a white blonde maybe slight grey but mostly white, or very light blonde.    That being said my hair is naturally a level 7.5 or 8.

As for Oliplex. I have heard lots of different things,  that it is just a  filler so your hair ends up feeling worse, all the way to it is the most awesome thing that people have ever used.  I have not used it myself however I have noticed in a few cases it has made the hair darker if they dont use a high enough volume bleach.  But I couldnt tell you how it would affect other processes
