White hair using bleach only?

Hello all !

Just wondering if this is normal and if anyone had any advice

I am naturally a level 3/4 and did two applications of bleach 30vol and 1x20 vol however, after both applications I noticed that half of my hair was dark yellow, light yellow and the rest of the strands actually white white! (haven't toned yet or anything!)

I reckon those bits were probably blonde slightly already - could I have overlapped? Anyway, after toning.. the rest of my hair took the colour well however those white areas started to go light khaki, even more white / purplish?

Anyone know how to remove those bits? Or to get an even colour - Will I have to bleach the reach of my hair to the same white? And Surely that wouldn't be healthy!

Please help! Much love!

Those bits are over processed, likely because of over lapping. The white bits will be super fragile from now on so you need to be really careful as they will likely start breaking πŸ™ No more processing with ANY peroxide and no heat.

It will be hard to get it more even now. What result do you actually want? Where are the white bits? Mid strand?

Yes the white light grey bits are quite close to the ends.

I was hoping for a dirty light ash blonde colour, but to be honest, those light bits are so super bright I can't see them blending into any colour apart from a white platinum which I didn't really want.

I'll wait a few days, but would you suggest perhaps matching my darker blonde to those, perhaps with wella t18 or something? Or I can try and darken them, but not sure what to use and they feel super brittle so don't think they'll absorb colour and get worst!

xoxo

Stay away from T18. It's so harsh.

What country are you in? You can get blonde toners that don't contain peroxide and that's what I'd recommend.

Hi

Ok il avoid the t18

Could you recommend a demi that has a good ash in it - would like to match my roots to my bottoms. (You can also see in the bottom picture the β€œsuper bleached” white ones

I’m not very good with the number charts. I know the level is the base (ie. 6/01) means ash level 6 and I think my hair is a 9/10 at the bottoms. But no idea when it comes to /6 or /81 etc

So if I wanted to match my tops with a small lift what would you suggest? X
