Hi all, any of you have experience toning with L'Oreal dialight milkshake toners? I've given up on using semi-permanent +conditioner to tone (didn't really work for me) and I had a good experience using Dialight last time to tone (ammonia-free, didn't damage the hair).
But I am unsure which color to choose. Anyone have experience with this line of toners? I'm very light yellow blonde (attached) at the moment, this is my hair clarified of any deposits. I going to try for the blondes in the photo below. I'm looking for a platinum that is creamy silver with brown undertones-- not blue or purple undertones. I have actually achieved this using an ash-depositing creme conditioner but it builds up quickly and it gets very grey quickly so I was looking to re-tone. I tried L'oreal dialight 10.21 at first and it was great and I might just do that again but I was thinking of getting dialight 10.12 or 9.02
If any of you have used these let me know.
just following up here- no one has any suggestions?

I've never used them and I won't use oxidative toners anymore. A lot of them are really harsh and fade as quickly as direct dyes.
You might have to consider that you have hair that just won't go that colour. I have just too much yellow in my hair and it will not go silvery/grey/white unless it's destroyed and it's at the point where there's no pigment left, but also barely anything left to hold the hair together!

Blue shampoo actually gets my hair white, so I don't know if it's quite an issue of being unable to banish yellow.
I liked the Dialight 10:21, it didn't damage the hair and I'm trying to get to the specific shade in the photos attached and I think I can do it with this line...someone somewhere else suggested mixing 10.12 half 9.11.
and oh dear, sorry for the bump. I forget sometimes that I'm on a European time zone and everyone else is sleeping.

I can't help with the Dialight, sorry. If it's not got amonia it's probably not too bad. Still, I'll always opt not to use them, it's not worth the consistent damage you end up doing as they fade and you have to use them over and over. Your choice though π
We're actually in Europe for the most part. Mostly UK. There's just not that many of us and we sometimes do other stuff π
