ETA:
So yesterday I used high lift box dye (L'Oréal Preference Very Platinum) and now it's hideously brassy (bottom pic)
I've already used Touch Of Silver shampoo which I left for 10 mins, did nothing. I ordered the L'Oréal Professional Silver shampoo on Amazon Prime and it didn't arrive so I'm now still sporting yellow hair!!
Also, can you tell me what level this is? Level 8?
Hiya,
I wonder if anyone could advise me the best way to go ice blonde at home?
My hair is currently blonde - darker golden warm blonde underneath with much nicer white blonde bits that were highlights. The roots are naturally dark mousey with about 20% grey a bit of which is in a patch at the front.
I've been using Schwarzkopf Hair Mask in Pearl Blonde but it doesn't lift that much and leaves lots of yellow/orange in my unbleached lengths and roots.
I'm wanting to go cool silvery ice blonde - can anyone recommend a kit for that - is there such a kit?
Or should I use a high lift kit such as Schwarzkopf Max Blonde and then a toner? If so which toner?
Apologies for the multiple questions.
I've attached a pic. Hair is not as dry as it looks but is in need of a cut!!
ETA: pic of colour I like!!

No, no, no, nope, noooooo. Please don't! Way, way more than you need.
You hardly need any lift at all now, but by using a blonde dye you're is lightening the hair each time but then just adding the colour right back in so you end up with the same result. Also, as I understand it, pearl blonde is a warm blonde so you'll never get a cool pale ice blonde that way.
I would start with a colour remover. Brand depends where you are. You have lots of choice in the UK, but less in the US or elsewhere. This will let us see where you really are with depth of colour. There's a good chance you're light enough already and just need to tone. Some of the lengths actually do look almost light enough already.
Show us and we can tell you if it's not light enough, a quick bleach bath would be fine.
Then tone with purple shampoo left on for few mins.
