Soooo as some of you know. I did 3 rounds of colorfix, 1 all over bleach bath, and then toned my hair and ended up still pretty orange. I decided to put a medium smokey ash blonde over it. I used a permanent dye by wella with a 10 volume peroxide. I deep conditioned then waited an entire week before I washed again. My hair is now back to the orange with pretty much no sight of the medium ash. What's going wrong?

Was the dye one that is designed to be used with a low vol peroxide?

No idea. It was just regular wella color charm. The lady at Sally's said to use a 10

Wella Colour Charm is just a toner, your hair wasn't light enough to tone.

A level 7 should have been Ok on your base, but IME these toners do wash out very quickly

Wella makes several lines, as do Ion. i can't really advise on specific products as we don't have the same ones in the Uk. The Colour Charm line is very high in ammonia, you may get better results with an ammonia free demi.

If you can get Adore you can mix an ash colour to tone. You can't do any damage with adore, and if you don't like it it is easy to fade out.
