toning semi permanent orange hair?

Ok so I dyed my hair orange with Arctic Gox about a month ago, I dyed it over some light green patches left over from the last blue I did and it actually came out pretty well. Now I want to go platinum blonde but this orange just won't fade. I mean it's faded to a light orange peachy color but there's some green showing through. I would just bleach bath my hair but I did that twice the last time I tried to go blonde (a month ago lol I failed and just slapped orange on my hair) and I don't want to damage my hair some more. Do you guys think if I did a couple of vitamin C shampoos and toned it with a purple toner I'd be able to get it to blonde?

Nah, sorry. It's probably going to take a lot more than that. And patience. Lots and lots of patience! πŸ™‚

Going blonde from any dye is generally hard unless you're really, really lucky. Getting there with green and orange staining is going to be really tough. Do this too fast and you're going to lose a lot of hair.

Have you tried colour removers? They're a lot more gentle than vit c and shampoo.

There's also this method http://www.hairdyeforum.com/index.php/topic,13842.0.html Though, be super careful. Some people say it left their hair feeling better, but for me, though it removed the colour, it left it in terrible condition and bright yellow when it had been very pale yellow before! It did this twice! It works for some, but I'll probably avoid it.

If you can't get the green out, it can be toned with pink.
