swap black/white cruella sides, via a rest at orange?

Hi! I'd be very grateful for some advice please.
I've had a black and white cruella for a couple of years now, and, in the long term I would like to keep having one, but, it's starting to bother me how in spite of using coconut oil and Joico reconstructer on the white side, the condition is noticeably not as good as the black side. My natural hair colour is very dark brown so, even with my best efforts the bleaching takes a toll. The hair wont grow as long and isn't as thick on that side, which makes the overall looks bit lopsided.
So, I was thinking, maybe I could swap the two sides over? So the nice think healthy hair that's currently permanent dyed black will be the white (and get done in one go so not have had overlaps from the roots being done) and the struggling white side will get to rest under black. I know I wont be able to just go straight from dyed black to white, so, maybe I could do it in stages? Maybe go a darkish orange all over and gradually lighten the black side that way? And then, after a couple of months or whatever get it lighter and lighter and then dye the blonde side black and get a trim so it's all starting out the same length?
Does this sound do-able? How should I do it? The dye on my black hair now is probably a mix of box and then salons,. Should I try and strip it out with Color B4 first anyway?
Any advice would be fully appreciated!
xxx

It will be really, really difficult to get the black side to white, definitely not do-able in one go, and the damage along the way is likely to be as bad if not worse than your current white side. There is also the possibility that it is stained and will not lighten past orange.
Also dyeing the white side black will not remove any of the damage it already has, and you will find that damaged bleached hair really struggles to keep dark colours in, so it will never be really black and you will need to top it up a lot. Using a permanent dye would be a really bad idea on already damaged hair.
So my advice would be to get a cut that hides the difference in texture on the two sides, maybe even just move your parting.

Before I got it to the white stage it is now, I gad previously had a whole head of permanent black and after that a whole head of red, so, it seems like it worked out ok before? Is it possible for it to work out sometimes but other times be stained? (I just don't know enough about hair to know whether the fact it was ok before was a fluke or not?)

Your white side is showing signs of damage now though, going from dyed black to white requires a lot of processing.
It is possible, my ends were dyed black and are pretty light now (not quite white but light enough for pastels) but most people find they have some staining. it will depend on the products used, how many times they were used and the condition of the hair.
If it were me I wouldn't risk it. Your white side is damaged but it is the colour you want. By switching both sides will be damaged and you may not be able to get to the colour you want.

Yes. More likely to be stained as well. Don't do it.

I wouldn't risk it either. I know how you are feeling, one side of my hair is is some state! But, sometimes when you pay so much attention to it it seems a lot worse than it is

You've got good thing going. Baby it!
