Hi!!!
Basically, my hair is currently dark brown with a slight ginger undertone. I had previously bleached my hair and it was a really light blonde colour, then I decided to dye my hair black.
I used Colour B4 hair dye remover, since I really want to dye my hair a pastel colour!! But the hair dye remover didn’t work, & just made my hair a bit lighter with a bit of a ginger undertone.
*nono*
I think my hair might be stained cuz I’ve had this hair colour for about 6 months, & the colour doesn’t wash away at all in the shower.
What do I do?? I really want pastel purple hair cuz I’m going to a concert next week 🙀
Should I bleach bath my hair, even tho I’ve bleached my hair like 7 times before and it’s quite damaged.
Please help!!, thank you 🐱
Black can stain very badly. You can try a colour remover again, but it's almost certainly not going to be pastel by next week, if at all, but definitely not without further damaging your hair a lot. I'd pick something else for now 🙂
You can try Colour B4 again, and possibly a very gentle bleach bath just to see if it will lift at all, but if your hair is stained and very damaged I'd be really really careful with it. Pastels require quite a light base as far as I know and if your hair is stuck at ginger, the amount of lift needed might just be too much for it.
Colour B4 can be used three times though so I'd try it at least once more, make sure to shower for a loooong time and keep it warm and moist when using it! Bleach baths on damaged hair is possible, mine was absolutely wrecked the last time I bleached it but now I went at it again and got it even lighter than before without it being ruined again, but mine got to a light orange before I bleach bathed it and besides my hair seems to be forged in Valhalla or something cause it's wicked resistant, lol. If you do decide to bleach bath it, use coconut oil when doing so, rinse earlier rather than later, condition the crap out of it and take your time! Oh, and if your hair is stained to the point where it simply won't lift - accept defeat.
Also don't even try to get it light until next week! I'm impatient like hell myself but when it comes to hair, slow and steady wins the race. A darker purple could be possible though but then you risk even more staining.
