Should I use purple toner or L'oreal Brass Banisher?

Hi everyone. I just wanted to give an update, and also ask your opinion. So I did a bleach bath with 30 volume developer. After 35 minutes my hair did lift quite a bit. I thought it was like the inside of a banana, but it turned out it was not totally there yet, and I washed it out. So I was left extremely bronzish and brassy, with both yellow and red tones. I was going to do another bleach bath, but I got scared, realizing I don't know what I'm doing, and ended up at a salon today. They did an entire head of highlights, which brought the highlights up to a nice 10 blonde, or maybe around a 9 1/2 level. And while the foils were on, they toned the roots and the rest of the reddish hair with a blue toner. It came out pretty well. Significantly better than before. But I still have a lot of warmth in my hair, and with my skin tone, ashy blonde works much better on me. Anyway, the parts that weren't highlighted, which is about half of my hair, is still having warm red tones in it and the highlights are quite yellow. I'm tired of going to Sally's anymore! But the two things I have on hand are Wella T18 toner, which is purple and is for light ash blonde colored hair. I also have L'oreal Brass Banisher, which is a mix of a lot of colors I think, so it removes red, yellow, brassy, bronzey. Which one do you think I should use to get a nice appealing ashy tone? I'm going to give my hair two to three days of a break before I do anything to it, but I'm just brain storming it now. Here is a pic of my hair now. The lighting isn't great in here, but in any natural light it is very warm colored, both reddish and yellowish.

I don't know what the L'Oreal brass banisher is (an additive for oxidative dye? Too late to Google tonight, sorry) but if you use the Wella toner it will only tone the light blonde in your highlights, the dark parts of your hair will be lifted slightly (depending on the level of peroxide used) revealing more warm tones.
The only thing i would recommend now are non-oxidative toners, such as Pravana silver, Roux mousses or Wella colour Fresh

Oh my, I didn't know there was one more thing to worry about! I'm not sure if it's oxidative, and from a quick google search, and I didn't really find the answer.

Thank you for the suggestions, I'll look into those products. 🙂

I assume T18 is wella colour charm? Definitely needs mixing with peroxide, they recommend 20 vol, but most people use 10 vol.

Hmmm.. good idea. I didn't think of that. Maybe I can strand test it with 10 volume. Yep, it's Wella Color Charm. I realized I also have T14, which is more blue than the purple T18. I might have to strand test both and see what happens. Thanks!

I wouldn't use anymore bleach for at least a month if you want to keep your length, more bleach right now could cause a lot of damage as you've already double, potentially triple processed your hair (if the toner contained peroxide). You could get a purple semi, like Directions, Punky, Manic Panic or SFX and dilute it with conditioner to make your own toner. You'd be better off with a blue based purple to counteract the orange tones. It'll be more toned down but won't get any lighter. What's your overall goal?
