Should I use color remover or touch up with bleach?

Hair History: I'm naturally a dark ash blonde. I had an ombre and had been trying to even the color back out with light browns/dark blondes/highlights.

What I Did: I decided that I'd like to go platinum blonde and bleached my hair then toned it with Wella T18.

Problem: I love it... except there are some stubborn light gold bands, especially towards the front by my face. I did try touching it up with bleach again (after the original bleaching) but it seems like it didn't help much.

I'm going to give my hair a break for a couple weeks before I try anything else, but I'm trying to decide what I should do to try and lift those light gold bands. Is it a stain from darker dye, and should I try Oops (color remover) to try to lift it?

Any ideas/advice appreciated!

NOTE: My hair was razor cut and I just woke up from a nap (hence the makeup smudge), so it looks unhealthier than it actually is. 😉
