My friend's mom bleached my hair and it definitely worked, but I was going from a dark brown and now its like orangy yellow. My roots arw white so im justg trying to get the rest of my hair as close to platinum/white as possible. I just need it light enough because Im planning on dying it a bright/dark blue. Unless you think the blue will already show up well? Idk. Just wanted to see what other people thought because I dont know if I should just dye it blue or lighten it more.
I attatched a photo of my hair right now and the blue Im trying to end up with. Should I bleach it more?
Was your hair dyed at all before?

yes i dyed it dark brown and then bleached it to where it is now
Right, your next step needs to be a colour remover to see if you can get rid of some of the ginger. Some of that could very well be left over from the dark brown. You should never start removing a colour with bleach because this is what nearly always happens.
So, my next question is, what country are you in so hopefully I can suggest a colour remover 🙂

In that case, use color fix! Don’t be tempted by color oops, it’s very damaging.
You can use color fix up to three times. Hopefully that will remove some of the orange staining. Orange is the opposite colour to blue so you need it all gone or you’ll get a nasty colour. You need eventually to get it as pale as you can for a blue like that. The more yellow left in your hair, the more it’ll be turquoise tinted. That partly why I much prefer to go turquoise, it’s also more flattering to more skin tones, but it’s easier as you don’t need to g9 as pale.
