Stripper is just mild bleach so it is unlikely to do anything now.
Colour remover on the other hand, may well get the last remnants of colour out, they work really well on hair that has been bleached.
Black dye can stain though, and staining is permanent, the hair will disintegrate before bleach will lift it. If it is stained you either need to cut the stained parts off or choose a colour that will incorporate the staining.

Color strippers and color removers are two different things.
Color strippers are pretty much bleach and damaging; whereas color removers are drying but non damaging and work by shrinking or shattering color molecules.

From the sounds of it, your hair is stained. You can try a color Remover but chances are it might not work.

thanks for the help lady's, just one last thing, im trying to think of every option possible before i go spending more money on new extension's and hair dye  to go darker yet again  *ott*  what about lightening spray? will i be able to go a shade or two lighter, or will my hair just probably disintegrate like with bleach before it goes any lighter? cuz it is in very bad shape just about still holding together  :'( cant cut anymore off cuz i actually haven't got that much left to cut if i need my hair to blend with extensions. or....... iv just thought a bleach bath??  maby that ?

Staining is permanent.  The only thing that will remove it is scissors  πŸ™‚  same goes for serious damage.

You could try another round of colour remover, but it's unlikely to work and any more bleach/peroxide type products will just fry your hair as it's had a lot of processing already.

As you say it's already in very bad shape I think you should do nothing but nice things to it now.  Give it a protein treatment then some deep hydration.  Avoid heat and harsh styling.

Finally managed to get a photo of my hair this is how close I am πŸ™ I know my hair will take a bleach bath but no more that  mild one. Are you sure it won't be worth trying before I give up and go brunette?

I would honestly stop and give you hair a break right now. Damage doesnt always show right away - I'm living proof of that, my hair began to break off  months and months later - and i would say I was pretty good to my hair. You can't heal damage either - you can only take care of what you have.

Dont give up now. Just be patient. And unless you plan on using a brunette dye with no developer required, you're still processing your hair in a very short time. Whatever you decide to do, give it a few weeks before doing it. It'll be worth it!

Why don't you try toning the orange parts with violet shampoo/conditioner or violet dye diluted in a good conditioner, so it is a nicer colour while you give your hair a break.
The only way to know for certain if something will work is to try on a strand test. I doubt a bleach/bleach bath/peroxide spray will do anything, a colour remover might. If it is cuticle staining you will just have to accept that it won't lift further, but you can still get a nice blonde over it as it doesn't look too dark.
