I use the Bleach London bleach to do my roots. It only takes about 15-20 mins to lift my hair to a really pale blonde (although I imagine that means it's pretty bad for your hair!). I always mix it 50:50 with conditioner to make it easier to manage and less damaging. Because I mix it and there are 2 sachets of powder I can use each box for 2 bleachings. And I only buy it when Boots do a 3for2.

I have used the toner too and it is quite good BUT it is also mixed with peroxide so you end up double processing. Usually I just make my own toners mixing conditioner with different colour dyes depending on what mood I'm in!

Conditioner won't make bleach less damaging; it cuts right through it.

The only thing that can make it less damaging is lower volume/diluted peroxide (you need to dilute with water) or applying coconut oil, which chemically bonds to the proteins in your hair, so the bleach destroys less of the protein chains in your hair, which helps retain the strength.  Coconut oil technically strengthens your hair instead of making bleach weaker, though.

im doing a bleach bath on my hair tonight and tbh im worried ill get it wrong. :/
ive got the Jerome Russell blonde packet powder and liquid.
I did buy Schwarzkopf blonde ultimer that lifts up to 8 tones lighter so I dunno which is best to use. my hair is currently a reddy brown colour from using a colour remover and a highlighter few weeks ago that hardly got anything out only the black but still dark. heeelp?!

I've managed to find them on ebay but slightly anxious about going that route.

Oh and whilst looking for Matrix, I found a site that sold it be it but the brand was restricted in my postcode. What on earth is that all about?

It might depend where they are. Or they've just made a stupid error on their shipping!

I buy on Amazon most often. You should be ok buying on Ebay though. The majority of sellers are legit.
