After bleaching with 40 vol (possibly twice in some areas) I would avoid anything that contains peroxide, including semi box dyes, for at least a month.
A picture would really help.

I don't know how to add pic, most of the hair has just had one coat of 40 vol. Some bits not a lot of it though has had double .

For the next few weeks focus on hair health--NO bleach, peroxide based products, or heat styling if you can help it. Try some hot oil treatments and try not to shampoo your hair every time you shower if you don't think it needs it. Before the next bleaching, definitely coat your hair with oil (I usually use coconut) and try to keep the bleach away from lighter areas. I would actually try a bleach bath if the lightest bits of your hair are still around a 4-7 but keep an eye on it and don't use higher than a 20 vol. from now on. It definitely doesn't need another round of 40 because your hair WILL snap off.
