I had very nice platinum blonde hair, but I decided to cut it short and then I regret it. After few months I saw that the only way to get my hair healthy and long again is to go dark again so I dyed my hair dark blonde and a month later brown level 4!Now I hate my brown hair every time I look myself in the mirror and I'm desperate to be platinum again. I just look better! I've researched so called hair dye removers but I'm not sure what to do. What will be the best way to go platinum again without completely frying my hair? ( at home )
Thank you!
Hair dye removers. What country are you in?

I live in USA. I did looked at some hair dye removers, but from what i see in other posts my hair won't get the same colour as it was before. After hair dye remover should I bleach again?
You need colour fix then. I think it's available in Sally's.
No, no bleach unless it's an absolute last resort. With platinum blonde hair it's as close to breaking as hair can be, it takes very little to cause it to break and any bleach is likely to push it that far easily.
Only bleach the areas that are regrowth as obviously they won't be platinum. The parts that were platinum should go back to platinum unless it's stained, which hopefully it won't be. When people talk about it not going back to the original colour they're talking about it not being as dark as it used to be because permanent hair dyes bleach the hair a little. If anything the platinum will be slightly lighter.

Thank you! I actually dyed my hair with demi-permanent hair color. The dark brown I put on my hair the second time I dyed my hair is starting to fade. My hair now looks like it has highlights. I've heard a hairdresser saying that the hair color remover won't remove demi-permanent hair colors, which I'm wondering since the permanent hair color I know is stronger than demi-permanent.
Hairdressers don’t tend to really understand hair colour removers. Demi permanent isn’t much different to permanent. It should take most or all of the colour out. I can’t guarantee it will, but it doesn’t work for all permanent colours either. Staining can be an issue, but that can only be dealt with once the rest of the colour is removed.
Bacially, hair removers are non-damaging apart from be8ng a little drying. Just make sure to have a food deep conditioner handy and it will be worth trying. It’s always worth trying colour removers first.
Just remember, color FIX not color OOPS. Color oops is damaging.
