Hey,
I have just recently started experimenting with my hair and I did a balyage on myself a couple of months ago. (I have naturally light brown hair so only using bleach didn't give me too orange of a result). However, then I decided that I wanted a lighter, almost blonde balyage and so I bleached my whole head. Boy, was that a mistake... Not only did I run out of bleach mid-process (rookie mistake) leaving the lower part of my hair a lot darker (picture 1) , I also ended up with a brassy dark blonde hair (picture 2).
Now I'm trying to figure out a process that would help me go from this, to sombre. Ambitious, I know. So I was thinking of bleaching one more time in a more balyage manner, then toning the hair with a wella T14 toner, and then adding a semi-permanent dye to the roots (similarly to this one ellebangs video on how to achieve sombre for blondes).
Do you think this would work? What should I do to make it look decent? Any other tips? I need help...
Thanks!
Pheo
