I had bleached hair and used a ash blonde colour conditioner and my hair has went blue pastel in places I have tried shampooing it with dandruff shampoo which dulled it slightly then put a keritin mask over it and won't be doing anything else today. Will this wash out or have I just ruined my hair ? Photos below but it doesn't show the blue very well it's like I've put those colour chalks in really badly. Also a photo of the evil product that has made this happen

Phoxabt put 2 photos product used was ash blonde conditioner and says on packaging for light and bleached hair 0% ammonia, hydrogen peroxide, ppd, parabens colouring using 7 organic 100% colouring oils.

Hi Ditsychell,
I'm a newbie here too, and know little about hair coloring but I might be able to offer a little help with your issue.  As of yesterday my whole head was that lovely dull light blue powdery color, but not today.  πŸ™‚  I did 2 pretty good washings with purple shampoo, and purple conditioner, leaving it on for about 5-7 minutes each time, and working it through the entre time, and now the lovely light powdery blue color is a nice shiny silvery gray color, so you might want to try that and see if it helps.

I described mine as a dull ight blue color, and that it looked like someone had dumped baby powder on my head lol. I too am trying to transition to platinum, and then to a pretty silver/gray color but got caught off guard when the other color showed up instead.  Maybe someone else will come along with other suggestions, but if I were you I'd give the purple shampoo a try focusing on your entire head but especially those light blue colors.  Good luck, and let me know if it helps.  Have a great night!!

It could well be that your hair is more porous in the areas that have gone blue, if so that could be good news as it may also mean it fades faster! Try washing your hair with Head and Shoulders or a clarifying shampoo a few times and see if that fades it.

You can make a toner yourself by mixing a tiny amount of a violet direct dye into some white conditioner, this way you can make it as strong or weak as you like, however you may find your hair wants to drink up anything you put on it if it is very porous so be careful! (same goes for purple shampoos!)

If you do find the blue doesn't shift you could try counteracting it with orange (again mixing a small amount into some white conditioner) this should neutralise it to an ash shade (though it will be a little darker).
