Hi. Im 16 year old and this will be my first forlic in the dying hair business. I have never coloured or bleached my hair before and i want to dye it ot from black to a sort of darkish blue. I have never done anything to my hair befote. I got 20 volumes of hydroxide. Is that enough just to dye it a dark shafe of blue, nothing too drastic from black. Anything else i should need yo know or change?

Do you have a picture of what you want it to look like?
Most blue shades need a very light coloured base as if you lighten dark hair just a small amount it will turn orange which will stop the blue from showing up properly.
