Long story short here.
I had been using xx schwarzkopf permanent red dyes over the past 2.5 years and now want to go blonde. I had had some bleach underneath the red but like in 2013.
Stripped using Colorb4 extreme twice since December this year, did 2 bleach baths spaced a month apart, coconut oil etc so my hair isn't in too bad nick.
However the second bleach bath gave me very blonde roots and orange lengths. Yesterday I put schwarzkopf maxx blonde 00b on it and it's lifted lots all over but is still brassy and orange.
What can I do next? Not up for the hairdresser please for various reasons of my own. Thanks 🙂

How did it look after the colour B4, it does sound like it could be staining from the red dyes.

I keep trying to upload a pic but says too big 🙁 it's white blonde on my vorgon roots but the rest is ginger! X

you can try another color b4, to try and get some more of the dye out. If you see no change at all then it is probably staining as lauralei said.
Reds are very staining and sometimes you cant get rid of it so please keep that in mind as no amount of bleach will get rid of it.
you can try to tone it with a blue toner but it will depend on how orange the hair is. If it is too dark, then the toner wont work
