Back again!.. Anyway guys here is what's going on.. I've bleached my hair THREE times. After the first bleaching it was way too golden for me after second bleaching it was almost good but still too yellow (the gold was gone though) and finally after the third it looked like the inside of a banana peel.. PERFECT.. But then I toned it and it went white ( I used wella t18 toner) being okay with it for then I've waited a couple of days... And now it's faded very GREY and DULL (not my idea of having platinum hair) so here is the help I need... I need to know what I have to do in order to achieve not too golden but not too yellow and also not white either I will insert a picture of what I'm trying to achieve and you guys shoot your advice at me *1* PS I bleached my hair with loreal quick blue if that helps.. and when I wash with purple shampoo it goes GREY and I mean grey lol
The inspo pic has more yellow tones, so just keep washing the toner out and you should get a similar shade (use clarifying or dandruff shampoo, leave on for 15 mins before rinsing)
Once you have an even lightest blonde 'inside of a banana peel' colour just using a purple shampoo or a very light purple conditioner (you can make your own with very diluted violet dye) will be enough to tone to that shade of platinum, you don't need the wella toners
Thanks! I will keep trying! Someone also recommended using lemons and a conditioner to take the nasty greenish grey tones out so I'm going to try that aswell
If you want to get the toner straight out try a colour remover, it will be more reliable than lemons.
I would have thought lemons would be really harsh on bleached hair - my mum used to use lemon juice on our hair to keep it blonde when we were kids and it used to leave it quite dry.
