I know everyone is gonna yell at me for this... Lol
Here I go, I've been blonde many Times before it's actually my natural hair color than I dyed my hair to brown.. That's been my color brown than blonde. But recently I found this dark Brown hair dye that has a tint of red in it. And I colored my hair a little while ago. I decided to go blonde a couple days ago and it just won't let me get there! I bleached my hair, used t18 wella toner.. Didn't work. Still had A TON of red/Orange in my hair. So I got t14 wella toner, bleached my hair a 2nd time than toned it.. Didn't work. So today I bleached my hair a 3rd time got rid of a lot of the red, bleached a 4th time But only in the spots that were red except I mixed in this stuff called unred. It looked like all of it went away till I washed it out. What can I do?!?! I'm getting soooo frustrated! π my hair is terrible. But I have been taking care of my hair in the mean time and I most definitely plan on getting my hair cut and doing a deep conditioner and all that good stuff...
Someone please help!!!
Thanks:)
You just have to stop and accept for now blonde isn't likely to happen. There's no way you'll be able to bleach again.
The only thing you can try now is colour removers. And it has to be remover, not stripper. It may help remove some more of the colour, but red is terrible for staining. You can then try toning the orange tones with diluted blue dye to get a brown.
In the future, don't go straight for the wella or bleach, use colour removers first.
Color remover use a hair mask every week. The tresemme one . if you want go blonde give your hair a break for 3 months . plus it wise to use a toner to get the brassiness out
Plus don't go for wella its not that good.
Your hair is probably stained or just really holding on to the color molecules. Follow Janine's advice and use a color remover.
Do not use any more products which contain peroxide (bleach, oxidative toners or box dyes) as this will cause much more damage.
You have processed your hair about 6 times in a short while so be aware of your hair condition. It will probably begin to deteriorate in the next few weeks as bleach damage can take a few weeks to show. Use some protein treatment( i like joico kpak reconstructor) followed by a moisturising mask.
