lightening hair to fix bad dye job, colour b4 and loreal preference platinum

Hi guys!
Looking a bit of advice, i was going to a concert last week and was rushing to dye my hair purple so i lightened it, it was still a bit brassy on the ends but i went ahead anyway hoping for the best. Well it didn't turn out well at all haha! Bright beautiful purple roots, my lengths went red again and areas that had been previously lightened ages ago that lightened again with the colouring went purple which are now going blue.
I need to fix it and im willing to take it slow to achieve the purple i want.
What i want to know is, does crazy color contain henna? The colour b4 says that it wont be effective in removing semi permanent colours that contain henna, and mentions purple.
So if i use the loreal preference to lighten my whole hair again, then wait a while and use the colour b4 will it help remove any lingering dye that might not have lightened as much?
Or would i be ok to use the colour b4 on my hair now as is and then wait a while and use the preference?

Thanks!!

Crazy colour doesn't have henna.

Use the colourb4 first, before bleach, always. There's probably no point in bleaching yet as it just turns purple green most of the time.

But can you give us more detail? What did you have before you did this? You say 'red again', what does that mean? What purple did you use? What kind of purple do you want to end up with? And anything else you might think useful. The more details the more we can help πŸ™‚

Thanks! My hair before was directions vermillion red over slightly lightened brown hair so it was reddish brown. The colours i used this time were crazy color hot purple with a dash of cyclamen. Its a nice vibrant purple on the root, i would like a slightly deeper purple but i like this too. The pictures are the mind of thing im going for.
Thanks for the help i didnt want to do one and wreck my hair because i know i cant use the peroxide based one straight after o use colour b4

Its not a great picture but you can kind of see what i mean by redish again, the whole thing has faded again now apart from my roots, this was a last week, its faded very quickly, the area of my length that went purple has turned a beautiful blue

Ok, def start with the colourb4 and then see where you are. You really want at least a pale ginger for that colour. But, you need to get out as much of the red and purple as you can before you start bleaching. πŸ™‚

Colour B4 actually spreads really well, I need less than two boxes for all my hair
