Yeah. Janine helped me out with a bit of advice. I used clarifying shampoo. Dried it. Put the stuff on for an hour. Washed it for 7 minutes. Put the buffer on for a minute. Washed it out for 5 minutes. Then used the buffer and gave it a nice rinse. I love the colour. Gonna settle it for a few weeks and then maybe do another one to try and lighten it further πŸ™‚

I think you should be able to get it lighter than that; I don't think you rinsed nearly long enough. I'd expect at least a dark orange result. For how long did the instructions say to rinse? Most products instruct you to rinse for at least 15 minutes but you should aim for 30 if at all possible.

You can do colour removers in quick succession, they don't damage. They just dry out a little. Ignore any hairdressers that say otherwise.

Definitely agree on the rinsing though. I should have been more explicit! When I said rinse until you think you can't anymore, I meant rinse at least 10 mins for each rinse. I used a remover last night and rinsed for almost 30 mins in all. Boring, but worth it.
