Hi all, I am in need of some advice as to what to do with my hair. I have naturally dark brown hair and in the last two months have used a green stain on it. I decided that I wanted to go really light green so I went to a salon to have my hair lightened all over as I was told the stylist would be able to do that no problem. I still had a little bit of green tint in my hair.
Well it seemed like the stylist only wanted to redo my hair green even though I kept stating that I only wanted her to lighten it for me. He ended up bleaching only huge chunks of my hair and then pretty much refused to lighten the rest because she said she thought it would look tacky- even though it is what we had agreed on and what I had asked.
Welll the chunks she bleached ended up so light that the contrast was so horrible she had to re-dye my hair dark green again! Now my base color is dark green and I have extremely lime green highlights that are extremely contrasted.
My question is... what would be the next steps for me if I wanted to continue to try to lighten my hair all over? I have Read that I should just dye my entire head dark brown again, then begin bleaching everything from there, once itβs back to all one color.
If anyone has any advice that would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
For what itβs worth, I like dark green and lime green together π
Please, please, pleeeease do not dye your hair dark to bleach it. Where ever you got that info, never go back lol The hair underneath will still be bleached and bleach isnβt made to remove dye. Youβre likely to end up with a ton of breakage that way.
It would be best if you could provide a photo of what you currently have, but you just need to bleach the sections that are dark still (natural dark, not the green).
