How to achieve a medium ash blonde colour???

Hi everyone... Please need some urgent advice on ongoing hair crisis.

I've had a naturally dark brown hair which I bleached and it turned orange so  then waited couple weeks and dyed it with koleston 8.1 and 30vol developer it did neutralise the orange tones but it does look like a caramely ginger colour!!!! What can I do to go lighter. I'd like to achieve a medium ash blonde colour??? *anyone*

Should I use something like wella toner would that lighten it??? Or do I need to do bleach or bleach bath???? ::)

Any advice would be really appreciated.  Thanks

It is extremely difficult to get ash tones over a warm base.
Your base needs to be as light or one level lighter than the shade you are trying to achieve,
To get a light ash blonde you will need to use a colour remover, then lighten to a level 8/9. You can then use a level 8 ash demi with a low vol developer or you can tone with a direct dye to avoid more damage
