Hello, how long should one wait between re-applying a toner like a wella or a L'oreal dialight? I've been doing temporary toning treatments in the mean time: blue shampoo, ash-depositing conditioner, and a mix of directions semi-permanent. Do I need to get these out of the hair before adding a toner or does the 10vol peroxide clear that stuff off? Also, I found that when I tone I get a little bit too much color stuck on parts of my hair where I had gotten color/ highlights a little while back. Would an equalizer spray even the hair out enough to tone? Thanks!

first pic is of me more or less right now. I think the blue shampoo and ash creme conditioner has given me a bit of a grey.
The last pic is me right after I toned with Dia Light 10.21 and maybe put a little ash creme conditioner over it (this Patrice Mulatto stuff, it's French).
