First off, hi everyone. I'm new here & my name is Jenny. π
So I'm trying to go blonde but I don't know what to do next. This is my first time fully bleaching my hair. I've bleached my hair a few years ago but only the tips. All of the hair that was previously bleached has been cut off though. My normal hair color is dark brown, but a year ago I put 1 brown hair dye box on it and it made it lighter. I
Recently, however, I've bleached my hair twice with Schwarzkopf blondeme bleach with 20 vol developer twice, each time using olaplex. It's been three weeks since I last bleached my hair. I'll insert a picture of what my looks like after I bleached it twice. I've also tried toning it with some purple hair dye dilluted with conditioner and this is how it turned out. I'll include a picture of that too. (I know my hair color is uneven, but I'm trying to fix that lol)
Currenly though, I put purple/plum hair dye on my hair to give it a break from bleaching & to hide how hideous it looks haha. However, after it fades I want to continue the process of going to a lighter blonde, but I don't know what to do next to achieve a platinum ash blonde. Should I do another whole process of bleaching? Or should I do a bleach bath? One bleach bath or multiple ones? Which way is less harmful to the hair? I'm just really at lost of what to do! π
The bottom picture is what I want my hair to look like.
Do you think some of the darker colour towards the ends could be staining from the brown dye you previously used?
Out of interest what Purple dye have you used to tide you over? (some have been known to react badly with bleach and turn green and/ or stain)

Hmm perhaps the darker color at the bottom is stained, but I'm not too sure.
I put punky colour plum & punky colour purple! It's been fading and right now my hair is a pinky red color.
It's hard to tell from the photos but does the brassy part start at a certain point in your hair's length? That would be a clue as to whether it is the remainder of the brown dye, if so you could try a colour remover (it's usually the first step, but you might still have some luck with it). Colour removers are made for permanent dyes though so it might not do anything with the temporary purple.
I haven't used those particular colours, but they're not the ones I heard of having the weird staining.
