Hi everyone! I am trying to achive icey blonde hair. I started about 2 weeks ago with wella bleach and 20 vol developer.  Turned yellow and toned with wella toner in t18 and mixed t11.  My hair after still was very brassy on the roots and through the rest is mixed with ash blond and parts of gold.  What can i do now to get it more blonde? Should i bleach it again or can i use a color dye over it for a lighter type of blonde?

thank you !!

Firstly, don't bleach again for a while. We advise waiting a month between bleaching your hair as it can take as long as this for damage to show up!

Many people here prefer to use toners made from a small amount of direct dye (such as Directions) mixed into some white conditioner as you can then apply this as frequently as you wish without the cumulative damage toners that use developer cause.

You could also try purple or silver shampoo and see if that helps.

Your hair may still be too dark and brassy to tone to the colour you want and you may choose to lighten again, but purple shampoo with help whilst you rest your hair for a bit to make sure it is healthy enough to lighten again.

Edited to add, if you have any photos of how your hair looks currently it may help people advise you further  πŸ™‚
