HELP! misjudged base color and ended up with blorange. can I fix w/ what I have?

So I did a TON of research and thought I had this down. SO naive.

You can see my posts in this forum below... basically, thought I was a darkish base 6 (based on what two different stylists have told me), and chose a Wella Illumina 8/96 (cendre-blue) with a 30 vol. Figured since Wella ran dark anyway, even if I was a 5.5, would lift. Didn't really think that out.

Well it lifted, but I clearly should've gone w/ a 7 (or a 40 vol, but a 7 would've been fine). See pic below (before and after): not the worst case of blo-range, but I'm not too happy now. Pretty upset, actually.

But given that it IS relatively mild, wondering if I can fix with what I've got on hand. Here's the options I'm contemplating (from most mild to strongest):

  • Use Fanola No Yellow (purple shampoo, supposedly pretty high test) as a treatment--leave on my hair for an hour or so and see what happens, then deep condition the hell out of it. After buying it, I realized that I really should've gotten a blue shampoo, but purple would help, right?  Or would it be worth it to go out to Sally's and pick up a blue one (or green, if I can find it)?
  • I bought a combo for toning in case something bad happened: read that Wella Color Charm in 7AA/632 w/ 20 vol could possibly help out if things went south and brassy. I know I used a level 8, but Wella Illumina runs (at least) a shade dark, and I think the pic reflects that. Now I'm reading more, and not sure if I should've gotten the demi instead of the permanent... bought the latter, didn't know... Should I just move on to this step (or get some other toner) instead of trying a shampoo "treatment"?
  • Some combo of color remover/bleach bath/bleach, and dye again. Now, I don't think I have to do that, based on the pic, but I'd love to know if you think it would be the best option. I'm fine with the shade I'm at, it's just the tone that is so objectionable. And I'd really avoid the upkeep of a lighter blonde/bleach.

Also, note that I did use Olaplex (still have the #2 in my hair now, actually).  And have more that I can use as a treatment and in this color correction endeavor.

So any suggestions? PLEASE!!??? I'm in the US, so limited to products sold here; I will wear a hat and wait a week for pro products from Sleekshop if that's the best option, but I'm totally open to stuff from Sally's if there's something good. Or, best of all, if one of the above first two options sounds good.

And by the way: what the F inspired me to dye my eyebrows?? Seriously?? I look like a freaking meth addict! A little makeup would help, but I'm not feeling it right now πŸ™ .

So need help. So need help... :'(

Thank you in advance.

Just wanted to add some add'l photos that show the problem more clearly (in sunlight). A very helpful woman on MUA called it a "6.5 orange" lol. But probably accurate. Fanola No Yellow did squat for it: probably because what I really need are blue tones.

I'm fine staying at this base shade, just need to tone it to at least a beige. Reconciled to springing for highlights after.

Anyone have ideas for a good toner (or permanent dye) to bring down the ash? I have Wella Color Charm in Med Ash (7AA?) and 20 vol developer, as well as Olaplex. But MUA's expert says Color Charm is horrible and I should buy something else, she's just busy and not getting back to me as quickly as I'd hope. Again, fine at a true 6/7, so not looking to lighten further or double process, just CORRECT this color.

Thank you πŸ™‚
