Hello, i am new to the forum and had never even heard of black baths before but it sounds exactly what i want. I have quite a build up for darkish brown and used colour b4 a few weeks ago which didn't seem to shift much but it was semi dyes. So since reading posts on here i am now sitting here with decolour on hopping it shifts some more. I really wanted to do a bleach bath before Saturday but i have read that you need to leave a week between the colour remover and the bleach bath. Is there any way i can do the decolor tonight and still bleach bath Friday night? We have a really special night Sat (husbands 40th) and really excited to get the bleach bath done for it. Thank you

You just need to make sure you have rinsed really well, as any remaining colour molecules will re-oxidise when the bleach touches them and go dark again.
You also need to leave enough time for your hair to get greasy, because colour removers really dry your hair and scalp out and you should never bleach clean hair, you need a layer of grease for protection.
So rinse for as long as possible with really hot water, keeping the hair moving. Then try putting some peroxide on a strand. If it darkens you need to keep rinsing.
