Hey so I've been doing bleach baths on my hair the past month,probably twice. But the last time I did it lightened my roots which I really wasn't looking to do,so a week later I figured I'd bleach my roots and tone them. Well I guess I didn't leave the bleach on long enough and it's still a bit orange so I went a head and tried toning again on just the roots with wella t18. That only got me a bit lighter. I don't want to bleach my hair for a bit because I know my hair can't handle it, but what do you guys suggest I use to lighten my roots even if it's a dark blonde, I can't stand the orange tint.

You can try purple or blue shampoo. Or make your own toner using direct dyes (like directions) and conditioner. For orange tones, a blue toner should help.
You should definitely stay away from bleach for a while.

Thanks! I do have shimmer lights I could try,it's super difficult to use and not overlap the rest of the hair
