Hair destroyed! Need help! :(

I've had blonde highlights done by the same stylist for years and love being blonde! I wanted to try something new and go a little blonder so got recommended to my friends stylist, which does hair at home. My hair is destroyed now! I asked for a root touch up and a few extra highlights and she puts one colour on my roots when I clearly have highlights... So the roots turned out one band of yellow orange and the rest of my hair is highlighted ash blonde. I went back to another salon and fixed it a little bit but it is still no where near ash blonde. If I put brown lowlights at the root area to break it up a bit will the brown fade as I wash my hair? I was thinking of going lighter at the bottom of my hair to match the top what should I tell my stylish to do? Also I hate the look of not having a little bit of root. I just hate one colour!
The first picture is when I first got the roots done and the stylist made them yellow orange and one colour
The second picture is when I went to go get it fixed but still not happy
The third is what my hair used to look like
And the fourth is how blonde I'm thinking of going and will it look good on me?

I've been crying for a week now and so stressed as I feel so ugly now so please any comments or suggestions would be appreciated πŸ™‚

I can't really tell if the roots weren't lightened enough or if they just need to be toned but I'd guess that there was too much regrowth and they need to be lightened more. I personally wouldn't add lowlights (it looks to me like there are some there already). Since your hair has been through at least two processes in a short amount of time I'd suggest waiting a month from your last process before getting them bleached and using a toning (violet) shampoo on that section in the meantime. You can also make a custom toner out of semi-permanent dye heavily diluted in conditioner. It's really not as bad as you think it is; I'm sure most people wouldn't notice at all. I think the last color you posted is really close to your current shade and should be easily achievable and suit you fine.
