I'm a male with short hair on sides and back and a quiff/pompadour look on the top. I'm planning to bleach my hair on the top to tone it to platinum blond and leave the sides and back as my original brown/light-brown colour. Would it be too difficult to bleach JUST this area of my hair or could i manage it?

I would get someone else to help. It's not hard, but it is tricky keeping everything under control with drippy bleach mix.
