Getting Black Dye out after bleaching

Hi everyone!

Hoping for some help. I've dyed my hair black (both box dye and professionally) and have over the past 4 months been slowly going blonde.I'm aiming for an icy silver blonde but after 3 bleaching sessions with a professional using wella blondor (i think) Plus a vol 30 (and also 20 in the first session) my hair is now a yellowish blonde with orange tones in the length/ends while the roots are more toward the white blonde I'm looking for (due to it being virgin hair).
am wondering if it it would be beneficial for me to use an at home colour remover in my hair to get any of the black dye remnants out or if it would just be better to continue with bleaching once a month .

If a color remover would be good, which would you recommend?

Thank you for any advice.

Actually, a colour remover should have absolutely been your first move. Do try it now. You can use it up to three times in quick succession. Just have a good conditioner to use afterwards because it can be drying (though not damaging).

You should also be ready for the possibility your hair is stained too much to ever get past the yellow/orange stage. Even with bleaching.

I'm attempting the same thing. =P Black dye is a biiiitttcchh to get out. If you do try the color remove i'd love to know if it works this far along in the bleaching process. =P

Thanks. Ill definitely try a color remover. The hair dresser i went to did a really amazing job, but shes scared to do too much to my hair all at once because Im pretty rough on it being in the pool for 10+ hours a week and she didnt want to fall out of my head haha. Which would you recommend?

Depends on the country you're in!

I guess that would be helpful haha. I'm in Canada. I've seen color oops, and not much else (a l'oreal one but I think it's a bleach...) though I haven't looked really. Is color oops going to be my best bet?

We also have a Sally's so I have that as my disposal as well.

(ThAnkara for all your help btw, greatly appreciated)

Color Oops will work, or you may be able to get Colorfix in Sallys (assuming the Canadian sallys stock the same stuff as the American ones, we have a totally different range in the UK)
