Hii πŸ™‚

Wondering if I could please get some second opinions and maybe some advice if I'm headed down the wrong track! Sorry if this ends up a bit long, I have done some serious planning!

I decided to grow out my hair around last December and just wacked on a random box of level 4 brown and have not dyed my hair since. I've been on a deep conditioning mission! However now it has faded, I have wonderful roots and it's patchy. I'd say it's a combination of a reddish 4 with some coppery brown tones around a level 5. My natural hair colour is a very ashy 5/6, so I kinda look like my roots are grey!! Not good!

I have some colour build up in my hair from dying it before I started growing it out, mainly just dark browns and reds. I want to achieve an ashy dark blonde/light brown colour, with ombre on the ends. I have bought some hair extensions which are going to make up most of the ombre, although I will be doing the ends of my own hair and some highlights throughout - more of a balayage look than ombre I'm hoping!

So here's my game plan!

I have a box of colour b4, I have L'oreal majirel dyes in 6,14 and 902, blue based powder bleach, 40% vol developer and 30% vol developer.

I was going to use the colour b4 on my hair, then leave it for a few days/a week just rinsing and conditioning. Will this allow enough time to get all the colour b4 out? I wasn't going to use a semi on it or anything, just leave it and hide in my house until it's safe to dye it  ;D

Then I was going to use the 6,14 dye all over, and again leave it for a week or so just deep conditioning. I'm hoping this will totally even out the hair colour and get rid of any patchy bits!

Week later, I was going to use the bleach to put some lighter parts through my fringe and the ends, with a few sweepy highlights through the lengths. I know 30% vol is supposed to lift up to 3 levels, and I'd really much rather use it than 40%, but do you think 30% bleach will be strong enough to lift the 6,14 enough?

I was then going to use the 902 on the bleached areas to tone it and make it match the extensions. I'm aware it may lift the 6,14 a little where they meet but that's fine with me and will just add to the look imo, I'm really trying to avoid any harsh lines so the softer the better.

Thoughts? Am I on the wrong track? Magical advice that will give me balayage ombre goddess hair? Very greatful for any advice, sorry if it was a bit rambly <3

My first thought is that you may need to use more than one colour remover if you have layers of build up.
I wouldn't personally add colour to the areas you are planning on lightening further, it is just going to mean more processing and damage. 30 vol is still pretty harsh to use on already processed hair. I would get the blonde parts to the desired colour after the colour remover, then add the colour to the darker areas.
I wouldn't use any stronger peroxide than 10 vol for the blonde and the brown, you want to deposit colour only, not lift. Your plan uses a lot of processes and harsh chemicals, it is not the gentlest way to achieve the colour you want, especially if you want to keep the length.
