Do I need some help or what...After having dark purple hair for some time, after turning the dreaded 50 I decided I fancied light pink but after using colourB4 which was brilliant at 1st but then I slowly went back to light purple, I then bought Colorista Bleach & went a lovely shade of gingery copper, then this morning put on Pixie Lott Pink & stayed exactly the same copper with a glimmer of something on top!
I think maybe I should have just joined here sooner & got proper advice  πŸ˜€
Can I now do anything so I do not look like a Duracell battery? (not sure why my pic is upside down?)

Well, the Pixie Lott Pink is paler than what you have so it won't show πŸ™‚

What you have to understand is direct dyes (ones that don't have a developer/peroxide) are literally just a stain and are translucent. They sit over what you have so the base colour shows through. Anything paler than the base colour (the colour your hair is) won't show at worst, at best will give a "glow" as you're seeing. You need very pale yellow, preferably toned to white, for a pastel pink to show.

So, you need to lighten your hair again. Normally, I'd say leave it a month before bleaching again. But as your hair is so short (and you're keeping it that length I assume) I'd say give it a few days to let your scalp recover and build up some oils and then do a bleach bath. You can search the forum, it has a great tutorial.
