Hello I have a bit of a problem!!
I have blue hair and since I've last touched it up it's VERY dull, it looks blue but it's only vibrant when in the sun, and even with the fading treatment it looks dark, except when i look at it in the light, where I see the fading treatment worked and it looks light blue.
It seems like it's my base that's too orange or yellow but it's not because months ago my hair was a very vibrant blue with turquoise and a pink streak and faded to a kind of lighter/medium blue and grey.
Help??
Should I remove all the dye to make the base lighter? (I doubt it but at this point I'm too confused)
Should I fade it all until it gets pastel and reapply dye?
I have silver shampoo too and I try to use it but it hasn't done much for the moment.

Usually when hair looks dark and dull it is dye build up.
So fading out the colour and starting again is the solution.
What dye do you currently have on? some brands look flatter and less vibrant than others, so changing brands may help too

I currently have Adore Indigo Blue, SFX Blue mayhem and Pravana Blue !

I find both Adore and Pravana can look a bit dull, they don't have the iridescence that other dyes have. Maybe try the Blue Mayhem on its own next time, or mix with another SFX colour to make it darker.
