Developer?

I thought we'd answered that in your other thread? Might have been someone else, it's come up a few times in the past week or so!

Doesn't matter. Cheap, high end, never really seems to be a difference. They just don't vary in the way powder does.

It was the powder I was talking about mostly in my other thread, I don't remember any talk about developer recommendations 🙂 Thanks for the advice though 🙂

All developer does the same job ie releases a certain amount of oxygen when combined with bleach. So 30 vol developer releases 30ml of oxygen per 100ml of developer regardless of brand. The more expensive developers have extra protective ingredients in them, but as you are buying a bleach that already contains them you can use cheap generic developer.

I use Matrix Light Master with the cheap standard Sally's UK own brand peroxide and it works just fine for me

It was my thread/question where I asked about developer and Janineb answered. I too wanted to know about developer a while ago.

I was using blue bleach powder by Truzone, but it was awful, the condition of my hair felt terrible after using it. So I bought Matrix lightening powder but used the remaining truzone developer 20 vol on my roots which went a pale blonde within 20 minutes, I love it. I ended up throwing the truzone blue bleach powder away, but I am currently looking for a sensitive scalp developer.
