Hey lovelies. I got some Decolour remover from superdrug the other day. I've not used Decolour for ages so had a quick look at the instructions and it says don't use if you have fashion semi colours (pink blue green etc) and to use the stripper if you do have your hair dyed with a fashion colour. Has Decolour remover always said this? Is it just because the results will vary? Whereas if you use the stripper it will be a bit like doing a bleach bath? Just wanted to check that people still are using Decolour remover on their bright hair and had no probs, as it's also stated on the box "do not use if your hair had been coloured with a fashion semi colour"

I don't think it used to say that. I suspect it is that reason though.

I'm hoping its for that reason and that my hair isn't going to fall off if I use it lol! I just don't think strippers would feel too kind on my hair so would rather use this and maybe not get all the colour out. I think the box has changed, it's a pink box now

Yeah they've repackaged it, and I'm almost certain they've just added that to avoid people complaining when they don't get the desired results from using it on semi dyes.

Well it removed a lot of my purple and faded turq 🙂 But I can't get the smell out of my hair lol I've washed it three times! Trying to decide what colours to go next as my base is uneven and there's loads of colours I want to try
