I have some virgin human hair extensions that are close to 1b in color. I want to dye them a violet red brown. Nothing bright at all. How do i lighten the hair? I have experience with bleach but wanted to see if I could just use a high volume developer to lighten the hair to a few shades lighter. Like a lighter shade of brown so the color will show more when I dye it.
Will this work?
