I recently died my hair black with pink underneath but because I was purple before this the blonde that goes underneath the pink was quite orange which means after a couple of washes my pink goes orange and looks horrible!
I was going to ask the hairdresser to put more blonde in it next time i go back but was wondering if it would be ok to bleach it myself? And also if i can put the bleach over the faded pink or if it has to be washed out completely. Does anyone know what bleach i would have to use as well?
Thanks!?! π
Firstly, I don't mean to be rude but would it be possible for you to maybe change the colour of your writing to a darker colour? I found that quite difficult to read.
You can bleach over the faded pink fine, try XXL LIVE Ice Blonde or Smart Beauty Total Blonde and make sure to check your hair every 10minutes to see if it's lightening and condition lots after if you're not putting the pink on straight away if you were wanting to do it yourself.
Also what pink are you using? You might be better off with SFX Atomic Pink which is lengendary for staying in hair.
i changed the font colour as i couldn't read the post, sorry.
kitty is totally right, use xxl, maybe get someone help you to do it, so they can help you check and make sure you haven't missed anything. flamingo pink by directions is also really difficult to budge =)
Sorry, it's the first time i have used this and i got a bit excited by the pink font lol!
Thanks that has really helped, can't w8 2 try it =D i think ill use the XXL as I was using that when i was purple.
I was using the Fuge Paintbox Extreme Falmingo Pink but am now going to buy the SFX Atomic Pink as i have read the reviews and it seems really good!
Thanks for your help!
If you want to do unnatural colours, in the future it might be best to stay away from XXL Live colours (red, black, purple) as they contain silicones which can melt in your hair causing it to stick to your hair, become quite permanent and be a pain to remove! So if you like to change your hair often and don't want a hard time doing it it would be best to choose a different brand π
OK great thanks for your help, really appreciate it =D
